The International Association of Psychosomatic Therapy is committed to bringing the magic of mind-body healing to the world. We support our members and the general public to allow them to experience excellence in Psychosomatic Therapy. As a professional association we have many functions including:

For our Members

  • Standing as the governance body for professionalism in psychosomatics
  • Providing professional development activities and resources
  • Connecting members with other psychosomatic therapists around the world
  • Promoting recognition of psychosomatic therapy to government and industry bodies

For the General Public

    • Connecting people with practitioners and teachers in your area
    • Educating the public about the many health benefits of psychosomatic therapy
    • Networking with other healing modalities

If you have completed anything from a One day Face Reading to a 10 day Psychosomatic Therapy Course and have not yet received your practitioner certification, you are eligible to become an associate member.

When you become a member of the International Association of Psychosomatic Therapy, prior to the 30th September each year, you will qualify for an upgraded subscription to the annual ‘Wisdom of the Body Mind online Symposium‘.  The Symposium will go live on the 6th October 2017.

The benefits to becoming an Associate member are: (annual fee $50)

(if you are a qualified Psychosomatic Therapist or Teacher but are currently not practising or teaching, please opt for the Associate membership)

        • Opportunity to be involved in Forums
        • Invitations to Clinic days and re-sitting of trainings
        • Connecting with psychosomatic therapists and teachers around the world
        • Access to a supportive community to assist you in attaining accreditation
        • Ability to share a stand at Mind Body Spirit (MBS) and other Festivals with Opportunities to Present and build your database

The additional benefits of becoming Practitioner member are: (annual fee $100)

(if you are a qualified Psychosomatic Therapist or Teacher who is currently practising and/or teaching, you must get a Practitioner or Teacher membership)

      • Being recognised as a Practitioner under an Association
      • You qualify for Professional Indemnity Insurance for Psychosomatic Therapy
      • A practitioner who follows a code of ethics
      • Continuous learning and improvement
      • Being part of an International team of Therapists
      • Opportunity to Present at the bi-annual Psychosomatic Therapy Conference
      • Sit on the executive of the International Association of Psychosomatic Therapists and Vote
      • Having full support of an Association in times of grievances or complaints

All Teachers who offer courses in Psychosomatic Therapy must be registered with The International Association of Psychosomatic Therapy (INTAPT), in accordance with their contract with The College of Psychosomatic Therapy (annual fee $150)
